Who serves today

Current Board (شورٰی) and Lead teams under the RP Resident’s Welfare Task Force. Role definitions, zones, and processes are in the Community framework (Rule Book v1.1).

Lead teams

Development

Coordinates with RP management to get incomplete development work done. Zone-based team (one member per zone); Lead chosen by mutual understanding. Tasks include: Roads; Electricity — dedicated supply, DPs and transformers, street lights; Pedestrian footpath; and more.

Maintenance

Coordinates with RP management for maintenance; team should be resident and take up urgent maintenance issues; devise complaint raise and resolution workflow. Zone-based team (one member per zone); Lead chosen by mutual understanding. Tasks include: Roads repair/maintenance; Electricity — local failures, DPs, underground cables, transformers, street lights; Pedestrian footpath repair; and more.

Security

Coordinates with RP management for security work; team present in society for urgent security issues; provision and maintenance of security infrastructure and manpower. Zone-based team (one member per zone); Lead chosen by mutual understanding. Tasks include: Review/reporting of security contracts between management and security company; Oversight of limited entry and exit points; Availability of security gadgets; and more.

Welfare

Coordinates with RP management where needed and with community connectors for resident social welfare. Flexible rules; combines tangible work and social activities. Zone-based team (one member per zone); Lead chosen by mutual understanding. Tasks include: Maintenance of masjids and facilities at the masjid; Graveyard; Landscaping and horticulture; and more.

Community Connector

Fosters connections, collaboration, and community building—networker, facilitator, communicator, listener, problem-solver, partner, advocate, information hub, community champion, and bridge-builder. One Community Connector elected for each zone (five in total). Five zone WhatsApp groups; a WhatsApp Community including all five; Connector Lead manages the community.

Board / شورٰی

Total of 5 members One member nominated from each zone Members are voted in by the volunteer group Three-year defined term for board members. Board lead rotates about every six months (every 2nd board meeting). Members are replaced one by one after completing term or on resignation—not all at once.
