Incomplete street lighting (Right wing)

Several streets between Street 13 and Saifia chowk still lack working lights after dark, raising safety concerns for pedestrians.

Opened 12 November 2025 · Updated 15 August 2026

What is wrong

Multiple street-light poles on streets in the Right wing zone remain dark or only partly working. Residents report unsafe walking after evening prayer times, especially on connecting lanes without through traffic.

What happened

Residents raised the gap in zone WhatsApp and with the Maintenance and Development leads. Leads logged the locations and asked society management for a repair or completion schedule. Follow-ups were sent in writing through the Record holder. No clear completion date or work order reference has been shared back to the community.

  1. Issue logged with Maintenance Lead

Zone connector forwarded resident reports with street names and approximate pole counts.

  2. Site walk-through

Lead team members walked affected streets and confirmed dark stretches after dusk.

  3. Formal request to management

Record holder sent a written request asking for repair timeline and responsible contractor.

  4. Still open

No completion schedule received. Issue remains active for resident awareness and follow-up.
